Lynne B. Carr

Oil paintings that are started on location and finished in the studio.

Her work has been displayed and exhibited in Southern Maine since 1975.  Lynne began her career with fairs and outdoor art sidewalk shows, eventually displaying work in her own gallery from 1980 through 1990.  An original member of the Art Guild of the Kennebunks. Lynne has many awards and has been juried into many significant shows.  She loves the outdoors, trying to capture a particular time and light.  My passions for endangered wildlife, land conservation and environmental issues are very important to me.  My work can be seen at my studio called "Lynne's Lookout" by appointment.  I exhibit at the Framer's Workshop Gallery in Wells, Maine, and My own Studio Show at Lynne's Lookout annually.

Upcoming shows for 2019 are to be announced in the Spring.

Lynne’s Annual Art Show at the Studio on River Road is usually the second or third week in August. Interested? Send me an e-mail if interested in attending.

The Annual Kennebunk River Club Art Show is always the second weekend in August. I have done this show since 1981. It grows bigger every year, and I still look forward to being a part of it.

Dates and other shows will be posted accordingly.
